55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating
Aluminum (55%): forms a dense, stable aluminum oxide protective layer, providing excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance (including industrial atmosphere and marine atmosphere), excellent high temperature oxidation resistance (can withstand high temperatures of up to about 315°C, far better than galvanized sheet) and excellent chemical corrosion resistance (especially resistance to sulfur-containing atmosphere).
Zinc (43.5%): provides excellent cathodic protection (sacrificial anode) function. Even if the coating is scratched or the cutting edge is exposed, zinc can corrode preferentially and protect the steel substrate underneath from erosion.
Silicon (1.5%): plays a key bridge role! Promotes the metallurgical bonding between the aluminum-zinc alloy and the steel substrate, ensures that the coating has strong adhesion, is not easy to crack or peel off during processing and forming (such as stamping, bending), and improves processing performance and service life.
Doubled lifespan
Under the same environment and use conditions, the design service life of galvalume sheet is usually 2 times or even 6 times that of ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel sheet.

How to choose galvalume steel?
1. Focus on core parameters
Coating weight/thickness (g/m² or µm): This is the key indicator that determines the corrosion resistance life! Common specifications include AZ150 (150g/m², double-sided total, about 20μm single-sided average thickness), AZ100, AZ180, etc. The harsher the environment, the thicker the required coating should be. Clarify the environmental requirements of your project (C1-C5 corrosion level).
Substrate material and thickness: Select the appropriate grade (such as DX51D+AZ, DX52D+AZ, DX53D+AZ, etc., the larger the number, the better the formability) and thickness (mm) according to the load-bearing requirements.
Surface treatment:
