Galvanized Steel Coil For Machinery Manufacturing

Specific steps include:
Substrate preparation: Hot or cold rolled steel strip is used as the substrate.
Galvanising treatment: The substrate is immersed in a molten zinc bath, which causes a layer of zinc to adhere to its surface.
Alloying treatment (optional): After leaving the tank, it is heated to approx. 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron, which enhances the adhesion and weldability of the coating.Read more
Quality Standards For Prime Galvanized Coils

Appearance quality
The surface should be smooth, free of scratches and rust.

Thickness
The thickness of the zinc layer should be in accordance with the design requirements, usually between 50-275g/m².

Adhesion
The adhesion of the zinc layer to the substrate should be firm.

Corrosion resistance
After salt spray test and other tests, the specified corrosion resistance time shall be achieved.
Appearance inspection: Visual inspection of surface quality.
Thickness measurement: Measure the thickness of zinc layer using magnetic thickness gauge or eddy current thickness gauge.
Adhesion test: Scratch method or bending test to detect the bonding of the zinc layer to the substrate.
Corrosion resistance test: Salt spray test, etc.
