Hot Rolled Galvanized A36 Steel
What is hot rolled galvanized steel ?
With the development of hot rolling process technology, hot rolled product quality continues to improve, the thickness is gradually reduced, the use of hot rolled sheet as raw material for the production of hot rolled galvanized sheet coil instead of the original traditional single galvanized, not only to broaden the scope of use of the hot rolled galvanized steel coil but also crowded with cold rolled sheet as a substrate for hot galvanized sheet market share. In the international arena, hot-rolled galvanized sheets have been widely adopted.
01
With the progress of hot rolling technology, especially thin slab continuous casting and rolling (CSP) technology is gradually maturing, the thickness of hot rolled steel strip is getting thinner and thinner.
-
In recent years, the country has built a number of CSP production lines, such as Zhugang, Handan Steel, Baosteel, Tangshan Steel, etc., is currently under construction and MaGang, Lianshan Steel, etc., the design of the thinnest rolled specifications up to 0.8 mm. large number of applications of CSP technology, objectively for the hot rolled plating provides better mechanical properties and specifications of the thinning of the hot rolled raw materials.

High Corrosion ResistanceThe addition of a zinc layer can protect steel sheets from rust and oxidation.
Aseptic Contamination
Protects against bacteria, microorganisms and other contaminants.
Good Workmanship
There is no deformation or breakage during processing, etc., and the processing performance is good.
Manufacturing Process
The overall process of producing hot-rolled galvanized steel can be divided into the following steps:
1. Steel preparation: The initial A36 steel is cut to the required dimensions and then fed into the subsequent processing steps.
2. Before the treatment, the surface of the steel plate is cleaned by acid washing to eliminate unwanted oxidation layers and impurities, resulting in a smooth and clean steel surface.
3. Hot rolling is a process used to flatten and shape steel plates. The A36 steel plate is first heated to the appropriate temperature and then passed through a rolling mill. As the plate passes through the mill, it is rolled, resulting in a flatter and more uniform surface. This process continues until the plate reaches the desired size and thickness.
4. After the hot rolled galvanized steel is produced, a layer of oxide skin forms on its surface. This oxide layer needs to be removed. A common method to achieve this is to apply sulphuric acid to the steel plate's surface. This acid etching process removes the oxide skin from the plate's surface.
5. Galvanising is the process of coating steel sheets with zinc to protect them from corrosion. In order to accomplish this, the steel sheets undergo a treatment process to get rid of the oxide layer. Then, a sealer is applied to ensure that the zinc layer adheres well to the surface of the steel plate. This process results in a surface of higher quality, stronger mechanical properties, and greater stability.
6. Finishing: After all of the above stages have been completed, the machine can be used to further process and treat the steel plate to produce the desired shape and appearance.
Areas of application
Hot-rolled galvanized steel sheet A36 is mainly used in the automotive, appliance and construction industries.
