Type
There are many types of hot rolled steel sheet in coils ST37, including hot rolled coils, hot rolled pickled coils and cold rolled coils.
These types differ in surface treatment and use. Hot rolled coils and hot rolled pickled coils are pickled to have a smoother surface and are suitable for applications that require a smooth surface; while cold rolled coils have higher precision and strength and are suitable for occasions that require higher strength requirements.
Mechanical properties
In terms of mechanical properties, hot rolled metal steel coil ST37 performs well.
Its tensile strength varies at different thicknesses. When the thickness is less than 3mm, the tensile strength is 360-510MPa; when the thickness is greater than 3mm, the tensile strength is 340-470MPa.
Yield strength ≥ 235MPa, elongation after fracture ≥ 17%, impact energy ≥ 27J (impact temperature + 20℃).
These performance indicators show that hot rolled steel coil DIN ST37 has good strength and plasticity.
