Prime Cold Rolled Steel Sheet In Coils Full Hard

Cold rolled hard coils are the product of pickling and cold rolling, which is the finished product resulting from the continuous rolling of hot-rolled coils after pickling at room temperature.

    what it is ?

The cold hardening caused by continuous cold deformation results in an increase in strength and hardness and a decrease in toughness, thus deteriorating the stamping properties and can only be used for simply deformed parts.

Cold rolled steel hard coils typically weigh between 6 and 13.5 tonnes and have an inside diameter of 610mm.
    • The surface is not coated with anti-rust oil.
    • The edge condition is rolled edge.
    • Width tolerance is also slightly larger.

This material can be used as a raw material in hot-dip galvanising plants, as hot-dip galvanising units are usually equipped with an annealing line to remove cold work hardening and rolling stresses and to achieve the mechanical properties specified in the standard.
Prime cold rolled steel sheet in coils full hard are obtained by continuous rolling of hot rolled pickled coils at ambient temperature, and because they are not annealed, their hardness is very high (HRB greater than 90), resulting in very poor machinability. Hard rolled coils can only be processed by simple directional bending of less than 90 degrees, especially perpendicular to the coiling direction.
The strength and hardness of cold rolled sheet steel hard rise, but the toughness and plasticity indexes fall, and the stamping performance deteriorates, so its application is somewhat limited, usually only for simple deformation of the parts.
As rolled rolls can be used as raw material in hot-dip galvanising plants, hot-dip galvanising units are equipped with annealing lines, so in practice, rolled rolls often need to be annealed to improve their processing properties to meet a wider range of application requirements.

    APPLICATIONS

The applications of cold rolled full hard mainly include automobile manufacturing, electrical products, rolling stock, aviation, precision instrumentation, food canning and other fields.

    cold rolled hard

Firstly, cold rolled steel coil hard is often used as materials for products that do not require bending or stretching, especially for rolled hardened coils with a thickness of 1.0 or less, where bending on two or four sides is more likely. In addition, cold rolled coils can be used as a raw material in hot-dip galvanising plants, as hot-dip galvanising units are equipped with an annealing line, which indicates that rolled coils are able to satisfy specific industrial needs after appropriate treatment.

    cold rolled hard coil

Cold Rolled hardened steel sheets have a wide range of applications in automotive manufacturing and are used to make various components of automobiles. Cold rolled sheet also play an important role in the manufacture of electrical products and rolling stock. In addition, due to its high strength and hardness characteristics, rolled hardened coils also have a place in aerospace and precision instrumentation manufacturing. Rolled hardened coils are also used in the food can manufacturing industry due to their good forming speeds and yields, as well as their ability to not damage coatings. Overall, rolled hardened coils have a wide range of uses, covering a number of industrial sectors and meeting the specific needs of different products.
