Prime Hot Rolled Steel Coil 1000mm 1219mm 1500mm 2000mm
Process
The production process of hot rolled coil usually includes the following steps: first of all, the billet is heated to a high temperature of about 1200 ° C, in order to achieve a good plastic state; then, the billet through a series of rolling processes, gradually reduce the thickness and increase the width, and ultimately the formation of the required specifications of the sheet; finally, after cooling, cutting and coiling and other subsequent processing, the finished hot rolled coil can be packaged for shipment.
Size
Hot rolled coils are available in a variety of sizes, with thicknesses typically ranging from 1.2mm to 25.4mm and widths from 900mm to 2300mm. Example: hot rolled coil 1219mm, hot rolled coil 1000mm, hot rolled coil 1500mm, hot rolled coil 2000mm.
Futures
In the futures market, hot rolled carbon steel coil futures are an important financial derivative that allows investors to speculate or hedge against price fluctuations in HRC. The underlying of an HRC futures contract is usually a specific specification of hot rolled coil, and the contract unit and delivery location are also standardized, which helps to improve the liquidity and transparency of the market.
Common Uses
1. Building structures: such as beams, columns and floor slabs.
2. Automobile manufacturing: the manufacture of automobile parts requires the use of a large number of hot rolled steel coil, such as body panels, doors, underbody panels.
3. Home appliance manufacturing: such as refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, etc.
4. Steel structure manufacturing: a variety of engineering machinery, mechanical equipment, construction vehicles and other manufacturing needs to use a large number of hot rolled coil.
5. Container manufacturing: such as oil tanks, water tanks, gas tanks and so on.
