    The chemical composition of SAE4140 includes approximately 0.38-0.43% carbon, 0.75-1.00% chromium, 0.15-0.35% silicon, 0.60-0.95% manganese, small amounts of phosphorus and sulfur, as well as alloying elements of chromium and molybdenum. This material exhibits extraordinary durability and reliability in various harsh industrial environments due to its high hardness, toughness, and strength.


    After appropriate heat treatment, hot rolled steel bar 42CrMo of steel has high yield strength, tensile strength, and impact toughness, while maintaining high elongation and cross-sectional shrinkage, ensuring good plastic deformation ability.
