The core difference lies in the rolling temperature and subsequent treatment. Hot rolling is carried out at high temperature, with iron oxide scale on the surface (black scale or pickling to remove), relatively low dimensional accuracy, but good toughness and low cost. Cold rolling is the re-rolling of hot-rolled plates at room temperature, with a smooth surface, high dimensional accuracy, higher strength and hardness, but also higher cost and slightly worse toughness. The two have different application areas.

We understand the differences in needs of different customers. For spot specifications, we provide great flexibility, and we can order as small as a single steel plate (subject to specific specifications and processing costs). For non-standard or special customization, the MOQ will be negotiated and determined based on the difficulty of production. Our goal is to try our best to meet your actual purchasing needs.

Of course! For each batch of hot-rolled steel plates shipped out of the warehouse, we will provide a copy or electronic version of the steel mill's original quality certificate (MTC) with the goods. This is the most important document to prove that the material and performance of the steel meet the standard requirements.
