Surface treatment
During the production process, in order to prevent the tin layer from oxidizing and yellowing and to improve properties such as sulfur resistance, tin-plated steel sheets require passivation treatment.
Production process
Hot-dip tinning: A thicker coating is formed by immersing a steel plate in a molten tin bath through a hot-dip process. This method has a thicker but uneven coating, high tin consumption and low production efficiency.
Electro-tin plating: A uniform and thin layer of tin is deposited on the surface of the steel plate by electrochemical methods. This method has high productivity, low cost, uniform plating, and can produce different thicknesses of plating or single or double-sided plating.
Characteristics
Areas of application
Etp Tfs Spte tinplate is widely used in the food canning industry, electronic devices, chemical paints and other industries.
Due to its odorless, non-toxic, lightweight, easy to process and molding characteristics, tin-plated steel is particularly important in the food packaging field, commonly used in the production of canning jars, beverage cans, etc..
