Tinplate (commonly known as tinplate) refers to the steel plate with a thin layer of tin on its surface. Tinplate is made of low carbon steel into 2mm thick steel plate, which is processed by pickling, cold rolling, electrolytic cleaning, annealing, leveling and trimming, and then cut into finished tinplate after cleaning, electroplating, soft melting, passivation and oiling. The tinplate is made of high-purity tin (SN > 99.8%). The tin layer can also be coated by hot-dip method.
