In late June, the social inventory of 5 major varieties of steel in 21 cities was 10.41 million tonnes, a decrease of 20,000 tonnes, down 0.2%, with little fluctuation in inventory; a decrease of 200,000 tonnes, or 1.9%, compared with late May; an increase of 3.12 million tonnes, or 42.8%, compared with the beGInning of this year; and an increase of 1.16 million tonnes, or 12.5%, compared with the same period of the previous year.
In late June, divided into regions, 7 big regional inventory chain has a rise and fall.
The specific situation is: East China's inventories decreased by 70,000 tonnes, down 2.3%, for the largest reduction in the region;
Northwest China decreased by 40,000 tonnes, down 5.6%, as the largest area of decrease;
Northeast China decreased by 10,000 tonnes, down 1.5%;
North China region stock increased by 30,000 tonnes, up 3.0% from the previous year;
Central China increased by 30,000 tonnes, up 2.3%;
Southwest China increased by 20,000 tonnes, up 1.6%;
South China increased by 20,000 tonnes, up 0.8%.
Hot rolled steel coil and cold rolled steel coil inventories declined
In late June, the five major varieties of steel social inventories rose and fell, including Hot Rolled steel sheet in coil and cold rolled steel coil inventories declined, while other varieties rose slightly.
Hot rolled steel coil stocks were 2.33 million tonnes, a decrease of 70,000 tonnes, down 2.9%, inventory decline expanded; 80,000 tonnes less than in late May, down 3.3%; 890,000 tonnes more than at the beginning of this year, an increase of 61.8%; 340,000 tonnes more than the same period a year ago, an increase of 17.1%.
Cold rolled steel coil stocks were 1.33 million tonnes, a decrease of 20,000 tonnes, down 1.5%, a slight decline in inventories; 10,000 tonnes less than in late May, down 0.7%; an increase of 300,000 tonnes from the beginning of this year, up 29.1%; 150,000 tonnes more than the same period last year, up 12.7%.
Medium and thick steel plate inventory was 1.18 million tonnes, an increase of 30,000 tonnes, up 2.6%, the inventory turned down to up; with the inventory in late May was flat; than the beginning of this year, an increase of 240,000 tonnes, up 25.5%; than the same period last year, an increase of 230,000 tonnes, up 24.2%.
Wire rod inventory of 960,000 tonnes, an increase of 20,000 tonnes, up 2.1%, inventory for the first time after 10 consecutive decades of decline rebound; than in late May, a decrease of 10,000 tonnes, a decline of 1.0%; than the beginning of this year, an increase of 130,000 tonnes, an increase of 15.7%; compared with the same period a year ago, a decrease of 10,000 tonnes, a decline of 1.0%.
Rebar steel stocks were 4.61 million tonnes, an increase of 20,000 tonnes, up 0.4%, a slight rise in inventories after 10 consecutive decades of decline; a decrease of 100,000 tonnes from late May, down 2.1%; an increase of 1.56 million tonnes from the beginning of this year, up 51.1%; an increase of 460,000 tonnes from the same period last year, up 11.1%.
