Angle Steel SS400

The raw steel billet for angle steel is low carbon square steel billet, and the finished angle steel is delivered in the state of hot rolling, normalizing or hot rolling.

The material of Angle SS400 belongs to a steel grade specified in the Japanese JIS standard (Japanese Industrial Standard), specifically SS400.

This grade in the ‘SS’ on behalf of the ‘steel (Steel)’ and ‘structure (Structure)’.The ‘400’ means that the lower limit of its tensile strength is 400 MPa, so SS400 as a whole represents a general structural steel with a tensile strength of 400 MPa.
