Process
1. Raw material selection and smelting: High-purity molten iron, precise control of raw materials entering the furnace, converter/electric furnace smelting to ensure accurate and stable composition.
2. Continuous casting: Molten steel is cast into high-quality rectangular billets or small square billets by a continuous casting machine.
3. Hot-rolled wire rod: After the billet is heated, it is rolled in multiple passes on a high-speed wire mill, with precise temperature and rolling control, and coiled into a hot-rolled wire rod with a specified diameter. This state is the basic raw material for cold processing.
4. (Optional) Pickling/Stripping: Remove the iron oxide scale on the surface of the hot-rolled wire rod to obtain a clean surface.
5. (Optional) Annealing: Recrystallization annealing is performed on the wire rod or intermediate product to completely eliminate work hardening, restore extreme plasticity, and meet the subsequent deep deformation requirements.
6. (Core Value Added) Cold Drawing: The cleaned wire is cold drawn through a wire drawing die. This process:
