The surface of hot dip galvanized steel sheet is covered by a pure zinc layer to increase the corrosion resistance of the substrate. The bottom of the galvanized sheet is a steel plate, and the thickness of the surface coating is generally 5-15μm in order to manufacture products with high corrosion resistance.
Color coated sheet, on the other hand, is color-coated on the basis of galvanized sheet. The surface treatment of color coated sheets uses a series of detailed processes, including pickling, descaling, passivation, neutralization, cleaning, drying, and painting to ensure the durability and adhesion of the coating.
Ⅲ.Different corrosion resistance
As the surface of the hot dipped galvanized steel sheet is a pure zinc layer, it has good corrosion resistance, and can effectively extend the service life. The color-coated plate surface coating is different, it is only the surface of the substrate baking paint treatment, coating durability and anti-corrosion ability are weak.
Ⅳ.Different aesthetics
Hot dipped galvanized coil is only silver, commonly used in some products that do not need colour, and can not meet the demand for visual effects. And color-coated sheet in the substrate surface is covered with a very rich colour coating, colour single or composite, to meet the aesthetic requirements of a variety of use scenarios.
Overall, there are significant differences between galvanized sheets and colour-coated sheets in terms of material usage, surface treatment, corrosion resistance, aesthetics and other aspects. It is necessary to purchase according to the specific application requirements.
