Overall inventory situation
In early March, the 21 cities of 5 major varieties of steel social inventory 14.22 million tons, an increase of 550,000 tons, up 4.0%, the inventory rise fell; than the beginning of the year 6.93 million tons, up 95.1%; than the same period last year, an increase of 970,000 tons, up 7.3%.
In the first half of March, divided into regions, seven regional inventories continue to rise, the specific situation is as follows.
East China inventories increased by 190,000 tons, up 5.7%, the largest increase in the region;
Northwest China increased by 130,000 tons, up 9.6%, the largest increase in the region.
South China increased by 80,000 tons, up 2.6%.
Central China increased by 70,000 tons, up 4.5%.
Northeast China increased by 40,000 tons, up 4.8%.
North China increased by 20,000 tons, up 1.2%;
Southwest China increased by 20,000 tons, up 1.1%.
Sub-species inventory overview
In early March, five varieties of steel social stocks rose, the increment, the increase has fallen, of which rebar is still the largest variety of increment.
In early March, cold rolled coil inventory of 1.45 million tons, an increase of 20,000 tons, up 1.4%, inventory rose slightly; the beginning of the year, an increase of 420,000 tons, up 40.8%; compared with the same period a year ago, an increase of 50,000 tons, up 3.6%.
Medium plate
In early March, the plate inventory of 1.41 million tons, an increase of 40,000 tons, up 2.9%, the inventory rose continuously; at the beginning of the year, an increase of 470,000 tons, up 50.0%; at the same period last year, an increase of 260,000 tons, up 22.6%.
In early March, hot rolled coil inventory of 2.43 million tons, an increase of 100,000 tons, up 4.3%, the inventory rise has fallen; the beginning of the year increased by 990,000 tons, up 68.8%: compared with the same period a year ago, an increase of 360,000 tons, up 17.4%.
Rebar
In early March, rebar stocks of 7.12 million tons, an increase of 310,000 tons, up 4.6%, the inventory growth rate continued to fall; then the beginning of the year, an increase of 4.07 million tons, up 133.4%; compared with the same period last year, an increase of 330,000 tons, up 4.9%.
Wire rod
In early March, wire rod inventory of 1.81 million tons, an increase of 80,000 tons, up 4.6%, the rise in inventories fell; at the beginning of the year increased by 980,000 tons, an increase of 118.1%; at the same period last year, a decrease of 30,000 tons, down 1.6%.
