1.Overall inventory status

In early December, the social inventory of the five major types of steel products in 21 cities was 7.37 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 180,000 tons or 2.4%, and the inventory continued to decline slightly. A decrease of 150,000 tons or 2.0% from the beginning of the year; an increase of 20,000 tons or 0.3% from the same period last year.

In early December, in terms of regions, inventories in the seven major regions each increased or decreased. Cold rolled steel

In early December, the inventory of cold rolled coils was 1.05 million tons, a decrease of 10,000 tons or 0.9% from the previous month. The inventory dropped slightly; it was a decrease of 80,000 tons or 7.1% from the beginning of the year; it was a decrease of 130,000 tons or 11.0% from the same period last year.

In early December, the stock of medium and heavy plates was 1.02 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 30,000 tons, or 2.9%. The inventory continued to decline, and the decline narrowed: an increase of 80,000 tons, or 8.5%, from the beginning of the year: an increase of 50,000 tons from the same period last year, up 5.2%.

Wire Rod

In early December, wire rod inventory was 790,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 20,000 tons, or 2.5%. The inventory dropped slightly; it was a decrease of 10,000 tons, or 1.3%, from the beginning of the year; it was an increase of 20,000 tons, or 2.6%, from the same period last year.

Rebar

In early December, rebar stock 2.9 million tonnes, down 30,000 tonnes, down 1.0%, inventory fluctuations: 180,000 tonnes less than at the beginning of the year, down 5.8%; compared with the same period last year, down 50,000 tonnes, down 1.7%.
