Once this pickling process is complete the acid is rinsed off and dried. Once finished drying we then apply a thin film of oil to the steel to prevent it from rusting.

Dipping the steel into tanks of hydrochloric acid causes a reaction that eliminates these contaminants, called scaling.
After the acid is rinsed off and the steel dried, a thin film of oil is applied to prevent rusting. Pickling and oiling makes the steel durable, malleable and cleaner to paint.
