In mid-March, China's 21 cities in five major varieties of steel social inventory of 14.13 million tons, a decrease of 90,000 tons, down 0.6%, inventory rose for 8 consecutive decades turned down; then the beginning of this year, an increase of 6.84 million tons, an increase of 93.8%; compared with the same period last year, an increase of 1.41 million tons, an increase of 11.1%.
Northwest region for the largest increase and rise in the region
In mid-March, by region, inventories rose and fell in each of the seven major regions on a year-over-year basis.
The specific situation is as follows: Northwest region inventory increased by 80,000 tons, up 5.4%, for the largest increase and rate of increase in the region;
Central China increased by 20,000 tons, up 1.2%;
Northeast China was basically flat;
North China decreased by 80,000 tons, down 4.6%, the largest area of decrease and decline;
South China decreased by 50,000 tons, down 1.6%;
Southwest China decreased by 40,000 tons, down 2.2%;
East China decreased by 20,000 tons, down 0.6%.
Hot rolled steel coil is the largest incremental varieties
In mid-March, the five varieties of steel social inventories have risen and fallen, of which hot-rolled coil for the largest incremental varieties, and rebar for the largest decreasing varieties.
Hot rolled steel sheet inventory was 2.49 million tons, an increase of 60,000 tons, up 2.5%, inventory rose continuously; then the beginning of this year, an increase of 1.05 million tons, up 72.9%; then the same period last year, an increase of 540,000 tons, up 27.7%.
Cold rolled steel coil stocks were 1.44 million tons, a decrease of 10,000 tons, down 0.7%, inventory from rise to fall; then the beginning of this year, an increase of 410,000 tons, up 39.8%; then the same period last year, an increase of 80,000 tons, up 5.9%.
Medium steel plate inventory was 1.46 million tons, an increase of 50,000 tons, up 3.5%, inventory growth has expanded; at the beginning of this year, an increase of 520,000 tons, up 55.3%; then the same period last year, an increase of 410,000 tons, a sharp rise of 39.0%.
Wire rod inventory was 1.76 million tons, a decrease of 50,000 tons, down 2.8%, inventory from rise to fall; than the beginning of this year, an increase of 930,000 tons, up 112.0%; than the same period last year, a decrease of 20,000 tons, down 1.1%.
Rebar inventory was 6.98 million tons, a decrease of 140,000 tons, down 2.0%, the inventory turned down after a continuous rise; an increase of 3.93 million tons over the beginning of this year, up 128.9%; an increase of 400,000 tons over the same period last year, up 6.1%.
