The cold hardening principle in the cold rolling process increases the strength and hardness of the hard rolled coils and decreases the toughness and plasticity index.
Because the finished product has not been annealed, the hardness is very high (HRB>90), the machining performance is poor, and the plasticity is poor.
Only simple, directional bends less than 90° can be made.
Full hard cold rolled steel sheets are often used for panels or simple structural parts that do not require complex processing.
